Barrel Rider Model

This is what I use 90% of the time in almost anything with a bit of power.  This is pretty much my GO-TO handplane!  Dimensions have changed over the years, but, as of now, we are pretty set on 7 1/4"x 12".  Deep channels run from just after the nose rocker through the tail. This gives you the kind of hold that a single concave just can't compare to.  COMPARE OUR DEEP CHANNELS TO ANY OF OUR COMPETITORS SINGLE CONCAVES IN HOLLOW SURF, AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW MUCH MORE FUN YOU ARE HAVING.  Test results in dreders has yielded some very positive results. It takes over for the Hobbit when the surf gets smaller, but still hollow. With that being said, it performs well in the bigger stuff too, without becoming a liability.
